Chen Minglou: Research fellow (senior engineer of professor degree), male, Han nationality, born in January 1958 in Zhejiang. Now he is the general manager and general engineer of Zhejiang Huate Environmental Protection Equipment Industry Company. In recent years, he has gained many important honors and held several social posts, which are Famous Science and Technology Industrialist of People’s Republic of China, Guest Research Fellow of the Academic Committee of Chinese Academy of Administration and Scientific Research, Chinese Excellent Environmental Science and technology Industrialist, the Outstanding Chinese Enterpriser of the World, State Excellent Environmental Science and technology Worker, National Environmental Protection Scientific Research Expert, Chinese New and High Product Inventor, Director and Senior Fellow of Chinese Society for Environmental Sciences, Executive Director of China Association of Environmental Protection Industry, and Director of China Environmental News, Director of International Calligraphy and Painting Association,and so on.
　　In the autumn of 1999, he was entrusted by State Environmental Protection Administration of China to draft the technical terms of product establishment of two industries—Wet Flue Gas Desulphurizing and Dust-Collecting Equipment of Granite and Wet Dust-Collecting Equipment of Industry Dust. These two standards have been carried out in our country since March 1^st, 2000, and their standard codes are separately HCRJ040-1999 and HCRJ039-1999.
　　Although he is busy with work and social activities, he still keeps writing. In recent years, he has published more than forty important scientific and technical papers and excellent articles, such as FGD Devices calling for Localization (Science and Technology Daily Oct. 26, 1999), The Localization of FGD Facilities Is Imperative (Science and Technology Daily May 9, 2000), It’s urgent to Develop Domestic FGD Facilities (Science and Technology Daily Dec. 5, 2000), Energetically Spreading the New and High Technology of Wet Efficiently Desulphurizing and Dust-Collecting (Science and Technology Daily Feb. 6, 2001), HT Efficiently Wet Desulphurizing Technology (Chinese Environmental Protection Industry the 12^th issue, 2005), Huate Made A New Breakthrough on Wet Desulphurizing Technology (Science and Technology Daily Dec. 29, 2005), and Huate Company Improved Wet Desulphurizing Technology (China Environmental Protection News Jan. 17, 2006).
       His deeds have been recorded in more than fifty experts’ books and many series of books and biographies, such as A Series of Books of Scientific Chinese People, A Chinese Experts Dictionary, A Talent Bank of Chinese Experts, Encyclopedia of Chinese Patent Inventors (Volume IV), and colour disks of CD-ROM for collection, and so on.
        He is not only thoroughly accomplished in environmental protection science and technology but also fond of arts in his daily life. In his spare time, he likes practicing wushu and handwriting, or making poems and paintings. He also likes listening to music, growing flowers and raising fish. It can be said that he enjoys and masters everything. When he makes a favorite painting, he always shows it to others or gives it to relatives or friends. He enjoys this in his life.
